We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Tester / Automation Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through both manual and automated testing practices.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and contribute to delivering exceptional user experiences. π― Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities and agile ceremonies.
- Monitor test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and testing progress.
- Maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA processes.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and defect management practices.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar is an advantage.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar).
- Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, or other testing and collaboration tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Internship experience, academic projects, or prior QA/testing exposure is a plus.
