About the Role

We're looking for an AI Software Engineer to build the internal tools that power how our teams work. Rather than developing client-facing products, you'll create AI-driven assistants, automations, and applications that help colleagues evaluate projects, streamline workflows, and deliver work more efficiently.

Your users are your teammates, giving you rapid feedback and the opportunity to continuously improve the tools that have a direct impact on the entire organization.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered internal tools, including assistants, content generators, review systems, and workflow automations.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs), vision models, and other AI capabilities into production workflows using prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling, and appropriate guardrails.
• Connect internal applications with the company's existing platforms and services through APIs, including project management tools, document systems, storage, and internal databases.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and transform them into reliable, automated solutions that save time and improve productivity.
• Continuously iterate on tools based on real user feedback and evolving business needs.
• Create clear documentation, implementation guides, and internal knowledge resources to ensure the team can confidently use and extend what you build.

What we're Looking For

• 1–4 years of software development experience, or a strong junior candidate with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to build and ship real projects.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, with experience building modern web applications using React or a similar framework.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, including authentication, rate limiting, retries, webhooks, and production-ready error handling.
• Hands-on experience building applications with at least one LLM API (such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, or similar), whether in professional or personal projects.
• Daily use of AI tools as part of your development workflow, with the ability to demonstrate how they improve your productivity and engineering process.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently turn ambiguous problems into practical, working solutions.
• Excellent written communication skills and a documentation-first mindset, ensuring the tools you build are easy to understand, adopt, and maintain.
